Based in Lancashire Nicola Grimshaw-Mitchell LSWPP is an award winning contemporary wedding photographer mainly using the fashionable reportage or documentary approach to wedding photography and is known for her totally passionate approach to weddings. We believe we truly have the edge when it comes to capturing the mood and emotion of your wedding and presenting an immaculate and highly artistic set of images.

A unique approach for the fashionably minded, reportage is an informal technique used to provide a visual diary of your day as it unfolds. We also do like to set up some beautiful romantic shots of the two of you, and of course, we are often requested to take a few formal group shots, this is always done quickly with the minimum of disruption to the day. Our main aim is to capture those wonderful spontaneous moments that are sadly often overlooked when a more rigid formal style is used.  

We have photographed over 300 weddings and carry only the very best Canon equipment to ensure fabulous coverage of your wedding whatever the circumstances. We are excellent at utilising natural light to create mood and intensity , (especially important during your ceremony) and can cope with any difficult lighting situation with ease and most importantly, flair!
